I have fabricated quartzite with both finishes. I’ve done a significant amount of Taj Mahal with a leather finish. I can assure you it is no more porous than the polished finish. Quartzite is such an incredibly dense stone that it’s less prone to staining than other granites. Choose the finish you prefer with confidence and enjoy your new countertops.
